The INFINITI lounge represents a space where our philosophy and innovation are fully displayed.

We have reinvigorated the INFINITI lounge to create a space at the crossroads of a gallery and a lounge with the traditional art of “ikebana”, the art of Japanese flower arrangement known for its simplicity, balance, and deep connection to nature. Since our first car, the Q45, Japanese design philosophies have permeated every aspect of INFINITI’s innovative designs. We aim to provide a modern interpretation of ikebana that harmonizes the principles of this traditional practice with the cutting-edge designs of INFINITI and our vision for the future.

The installation features black bamboo, symbolizing the powerful and commanding presence of INFINITI cars, complemented with touches of green to signify gentleness. Finally, the alluring red lily accentuates the burgundy interior of the QX80, our newest flagship SUV born under our evolved design language, Artistry in Motion..

To bring this unique fusion of traditional Japanese culture and modern automotive design to life, we collaborated with visionary ikebana artist Iioka Kobushi. Kobushi is an instructor at the Sogetsu School of Ikebana and began his journey as an artist working at a flower shop, where he discovered the charm and depth of ikebana as an art form. He is now a member of the production staff of the 4th generation at the Sogetsu Headquarters and aspires to express plant life’s diverse forms and beauty through his arrangements.

Experience a seamless and captivating ikebana installation at the INFINITI lounge. Each composition reflects the essence of a mesmerizing traditional Japanese art form against the backdrop of INFINITI’s design and craftsmanship.
