| Description of Defect | Due to inappropriate operation of the propellant wafer for the deployment of the air bag in the front passenger air bag inflator installation at the inflator assembly process, some inflators might be missing a certain component part. Therefore, the vibration during the driving may cause the propellant wafer to be partially broken up into powder. In this case, when the air bag deployment, the excessive internal pressure may be produced in the inflator, the inflator casing may rupture and scatter. |
