#NissanLivegram Terms of Use and Precaution

Please read and agree to the following terms of use to participate in the “#NissanLivegram” campaign that will be implemented by Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter called “company”) using Instagram and Twitter. It shall be deemed that anyone who posted with the “#NissanLivegram” hashtag consent to the terms of use.

How to participate

  • ・Post a photo taken by you (hereinafter called “applicant”) at the Tokyo Motor Show 2015 Nisan booth with the “NissanLivegram” hashtag on Instagram or Twitter. Photos will be selected by the administration office and put on the website (http://www.nissan.co.jp/MS/TOKYO2015/) .
  • ・The campaign period is from 14:30 p.m., October 29 (Thu), 2015 to 6 p.m., November 8 (Sun), 2015.
  • ・Photos must be taken by participant’s own mobile phones (including smartphones) and digital cameras.
  • ・If any accompanying person appears in a photo with the applicant, obtain permission from that person before posting and applying to the campaign.

How to select

  • ・The administration office will select comments, photos posted with the #NissanLivegrm hashtag on Instagram or Twitter to put on the website (http://www.nissan.co.jp/MS/TOKYO2015/).
  • ・Selected photos will be put on the website without prior announcement.
  • ・Pictures and will be cited from Instagram or Twitter to the website.
  • ・The company does not accept inquiries about the result and details of selection process.

Conditions regarding Instagram and Twitter posts

  • ・Posts by applicants shall not include any of the following content. The administration office will make a judgment and may delete posts from the website if deemed inappropriate.
    • ・Posts that offend public orders and morals
    • ・Posts that defame others
    • ・Posts that violate the law
    • ・Commercial posts
    • ・Posts that encourage criminal behavior
    • ・Photos posted without permission from objects
    • ・Posts that include intellectual assets and image rights such as the copy right of a third party
    • ・Posts that include individual information
    • ・Posts that are not related to the Nissan booth at Tokyo Motor Show 2015
    • ・Posts that violate the terms of use of this application guideline, Instagram and Twitter
    • ・Posts deemed inappropriate by the administration office
  • ・The company do not accept inquires about how to use Instagram or Twitter.

Disclaimer

  • ・During the campaign, the terms of use and the application form are subject to change.
  • ・The company shall not be involved in any dispute concerning damages and such to the applicant caused at the time of posting by violation of the application requirements, complaints or objections raised by a third party, troubles, publication, use, and the applicant shall resolve all disputes at its own responsibility and expense. In that case, the company shall not assume any responsibility for any damages. And the applicant shall compensate for all damages that it has caused to the company. In cases of a system failure or system maintenance, part or all of the site may become unavailable without notice.
  • ・Please note that the company shall not take any responsibility for any damages to the applicant caused by such suspension of the site.

Other important notes:

  • ・Minors need to have parental approval before posting or applying for the campaign.
  • ・The campaign is not sponsored by Twitter or Facebook that operates Instagram.
  • ・The company may make changes to the application form and the application requirements during the campaign.
  • ・Please contact the company at the email address listed below for any inquiries.

  • ・The company will never call and ask the applicant to pay the fee via bank transfer. Please watch out for a bank transfer scam where the perpetrator is disguised as a person from the company’s administration office.
  • ・Please note that posted texts, photos, and videos may be used on the company’s website, social media, etc.
  • ・Internet connection fees and communication fees required for participating in the campaign shall be borne by the applicant.
